Fieberbrunn — a Tyrolean original at 800 m
A lively village of around 4,500 people in the PillerseeTal, framed by the Kitzbühel Alps and the Loferer Steinberge. Its name — the fever spring — dates back to 1354, when the healing waters reputedly cured the fever of Margravine Margarete Maultasch. Today Fieberbrunn is known as the freeride capital of Austria, with a charming centre, weekly summer markets and its own railway station on the Salzburg–Innsbruck line.

Winter — 150 km of slopes
Imagine waking up to fresh snow, with two complete ski areas just ten minutes away — world-class freeriding in the Skicircus for the ambitious, sunny and relaxed slopes in St. Johann for families and beginners. And when the ski boots come off, the fun continues: gliding across an open-air ice rink with the kids, quiet cross-country loops through snowy meadows, or a steaming outdoor pool while the mountains turn pink. Two ski areas on your doorstep
From the chalet you can be in either of two ski areas in about ten minutes by car: the vast Skicircus via the Fieberbrunn lifts, or the sunny family slopes of St. Johann in Tirol.

Summer here smells of hay and mountain air. Step out of the door and onto the 50 km panoramic loop, pedal lift-served trails through the Kitzbühel Alps, or simply stroll the riverside path into the village for ice cream. Families love the warm bathing lakes, the alpine coaster and the amusement parks of the valley — and on quieter days there is always a sunset at the Jakobskreuz or a coffee in Kitzbühel’s old town.
